Hiked up Tuckerman Ravine this April. Beautiful weather the whole way up. We were .7 miles from the base when a whiteout blizzard came in on us. Already halfway there, we kept going. We didn’t go too far because we couldn’t see 10 feet in front of us. Probably one of the worst hikes up, but the feeling you get when you reach base, makes you almost forget the trek up.
One piece of advice: Bring Layers! The worst feeling ever was when my socks were wet and my hands were cold. Expect the worst, you never know what the weather is like up on Mt. Washington.
